Lindsey Turner is a designer, writer, photographer, art director, and illustrator who lives in Nashville with her husband, son, and dog in a perpetual state of disarray. She likes making things and telling stories.

Lindsey founded Eyedot Creative in 2010.

She grew up on a farm in West Tennessee and studied journalism and media design at Middle Tennessee State University. It was at MTSU that she became charmed by newspapering, the cruelest of mistresses, and spent more than 12 years as a visual journalist and creative director. 

Lindsey currently serves as director of communications for a Nashville nonprofit. She is always on the lookout for collaborative creative partnerships and exciting freelance design and illustration opportunities. Got an idea for an art commission or freelance project? Let her know!

About the name: Lindsey was born with a brown spot in her left eye called a nevus. Most people assume she was jabbed with a pencil or that she has some sort of laser embedded in her eye. Sadly the latter isn’t true. It’s just one of the quirks she was born with.
